View all of the page you are working on, not just part of it.
You can do this today, with a full page preview, but then
the writing is so small
that it becomes hard to spot errors unless you have a truly colossal screen.
For a high proportion of office tasks, having your screen taller than it is wide (i.e. Portrait mode)
can seriously improve your productivity.
Most LCD screens cannot be put into portrait mode. Those that can tend to be a bit more expensive than the
cheap low-end LCD screens you can buy in most computer stores, but the little extra is well worth paying.
All of our TFT screens support Portrait mode.
No exceptions.
Our best price and performance options come from either the
Acer 'Office line', (right) in silver & black, and the
iiyama 'H' series (left), in either all white or all black.
Both brands offer 17", 19" and larger sizes.
A less expensive option, albeit with slightly slower response time, are the GNR family of screens.
What software do you need to put a screen into portrait mode ? The simple answer is
Pivot Pro,
but if your machine has either an
Nvidia or a
Matrox 'P' series graphics chip, display rotation
may be integrated into the latest drivers.
